Privacy Policy

Plan Ahead is a personal task, goal, and reflection planner for iOS and Android. Your privacy is simple to explain: everything you create in Plan Ahead stays on your device. We do not run a server that stores your data, we do not have accounts, and we do not collect, sell, or share your personal information.

1. Who We Are

Plan Ahead ("the app", "we", "us") is developed and maintained independently. If you have any questions about this policy or your privacy, you can reach us at gokalpsimalirem@gmail.com.

2. Information Stored in the App

Plan Ahead lets you create and store the following information. All of it is kept locally on your device in a private database and is never transmitted to us or to any third party:

• Profile details — an optional username, an optional avatar image you choose from your photo library, an optional birthday, your preferred language, and your app settings (notification preferences, quiet hours, accent color).
• Tasks — titles, descriptions, dates, start/end times, categories, completion status, and recurring schedules you create.
• Goals — goal titles, categories, targets, and progress you track each week.
• Daily and weekly reviews — your reflections, energy levels, priorities, obstacles, and task summaries.
• Progress data — streaks, achievements, and milestone records generated from your activity.

Plan Ahead does not require you to create an account, and you do not need to provide an email address or any contact information to use the app.

3. Where Your Data Lives

Plan Ahead is built to be local-first. Your information is stored in a private database on your device only. There is no cloud sync, no remote backend, and no online account. Because of this:

• We cannot see, access, or recover your data.
• Your data is not backed up to our servers (we have none for your content).
• If you delete the app, your data is removed with it, unless you have exported a copy yourself.

4. Device Permissions

Plan Ahead may ask for the following permissions, only when needed and only for the stated purpose:

• Notifications — to send you reminders for tasks, daily check-ins, morning rituals, and weekly summaries. You can turn notifications off at any time in the app or in your device settings, and set quiet hours.
• Photo Library — to let you choose an avatar image. The image you pick is stored locally with your profile; we do not access the rest of your photos.

Plan Ahead does not request access to your location, contacts, microphone, camera, or your device's system calendar.

5. Analytics, Tracking & Advertising

Plan Ahead does not include any third-party analytics, tracking, or advertising software. We do not use tools such as Google Analytics, Firebase, or similar services, and we do not build advertising profiles. There are no trackers monitoring how you use the app.

6. Exporting and Deleting Your Data

You are always in control of your information:

• Export — you can export a copy of your data as a file from within the app's settings. Once exported, that file is yours to store or share as you choose, and you become responsible for keeping it private.
• Delete — you can erase all of your on-device data immediately from the app's settings, or by uninstalling the app. There is no waiting period, because there is no server-side copy to remove.

7. Children's Privacy

Plan Ahead is intended for general audiences and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because all data stays on the device and is never transmitted to us, we do not gather information about any user, including children.

8. Sending Us Feedback

If you choose to email us feedback or a support request, your message is sent through your own email app to gokalpsimalirem@gmail.com. In that case we will see whatever you include in your email (such as your email address and message). We use it only to respond to you and do not use it for any other purpose.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example if the app's features change. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be reflected here, so we encourage you to review this page periodically.
